If you are like me and always looking for new activities to keep the kids busy, these DIY face masks are great! My kids love mixing the ingredients and getting messy. It's a great way to teach them about how food can be used for skin care and natural ingredients make them safe for everyone! As an added bonus, Mama gets some self care/skin care time! Below you will a few of our very easy to make favorites that use just a few tablespoons each of ingredients that you will find in your kitchen! These masks require very little prep time and are left on for 5-10 minutes each which makes them perfect for the attention spans of little ones. Yogurt & Honey Mask 2 Tablespoons of Plain (or whatever kind you have) Yogurt 2 Tablespoons Honey *You can add Oatmeal to this mask for added moisturizing and exfoliation benefits! Banana & Honey Mask 1/4 Banana (Mashed) 2 Tablespoons Honey Avocado & Olive Oil Mask 2 Tablespoons Avocado (Mashed) 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil Cucumber & Yogurt Mask 1/4 cup cubed Cucumber (blended) 2 Tablespoons Yogurt These are just a few of our easiest go to picks, but there are so many masks you can make using raw, fresh ingredients!
